What Should Be Removed Before Crushing a Car?

There are so many parts that go into a car, you have to be sure that you take all of the right ones out before selling it properly. A few things that you need to know and do:

  • Have a Clean Title- Scrap yards will not take cars without them.
  • Have all fluids removed. This includes oil, washer fluid, and gas just to name a few.
  • Try to pull off aluminum rims...this way you can make a few extra dollars by selling them.
  • Cut the Catalytic Converter off- you will make more money by reselling that or scrapping the cat.
